A new iterative with memory class for solving nonlinear equations
In this work we develop a new optimal without memory class for approximating a simple root of a nonlinear equation. This class includes three parameters. Therefore, we try to derive some with memory methods so that the convergence order increases as high as possible. Some numerical examples are also presented.

متن کاملAdaptive Steffensen-like Methods with Memory for Solving Nonlinear Equations with the Highest Possible Efficiency Indices
The primary goal of this work is to introduce two adaptive Steffensen-like methods with memory of the highest efficiency indices. In the existing methods, to improve the convergence order applied to memory concept, the focus has only been on the current and previous iteration. However, it is possible to improve the accelerators. Therefore, we achieve superior convergence orders and obtain as hi...
متن کاملPipelined iterative methods for shared memory machines
In this paper we describe a new parallel iterative technique to solve a set of linear equations. The technique can be applied to any serial iterative scheme and involves pipelining sllccessive iterations. We give an example of this technique by modifying the classical successive Qverrelaxation method (SOR). The algorithm is implemented on a Sequent Balance 21000 and the experimental results are...
متن کاملGap junctions of the hippocampal CA1 area are crucial for memory consolidation
Introduction: Gap junctions are specialized cell–cell contacts between eukaryotic cells through which they communicate. This type of communication has the potential to modulate memory process. We evaluated the effects of the gating of the hippocampal CA1 area gap junction channels on memory consolidation, using passive avoidance task. Materials and Methods: 72 adult male Wistar rats were distri...
